Abstract
DALLAS (Standard & Poor's) Jan. 12, 2012--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A+' long-term rating to Parmer County, Texas' series 2012 limited-tax refunding bonds. The outlook is stable. "The rating reflects our view of the county's stable, mostly agricultural local economy, as well as its very strong financial position, as demonstrated by historically very strong general fund balances," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Lauren Spalten.
