Abstract
NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Jan. 20, 2012--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that the decision by a U.S. District Court Judge to prevent the State of Vermont from shutting down the Vermont Yankee nuclear plant does not affect its ratings or outlook on Entergy Corp. (BBB/Negative/--). While the plant is not a meaningful contributor to Entergy's operating income, the decision removes the uncertainty and related costs of a near-term shutdown....
