NY -- Standard & Poor's CreditWire 2/7/97 -- Standard & Poor's today has revised its outlook on AAR Corp. to positive from stable and has affirmed its triple-`B'-minus senior unsecured debt and corporate credit ratings on the company. The outlook revision is based on a recent common stock offering of 2 million common shares (net proceeds of $50 million), which strengthens an already solid capital structure. Proceeds will be used to expand the company's operations. The rating action also incorporates expectations that the firm's financial performance, supported by overall favorable industry conditions, will continue to improve.
