BULLETIN: Cofiroute's Ratings Unaffected By French State's Rapid Toll Road Divestments Jul 05

Abstract PARIS (Standard & Poor's) July 4, 2005--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today its ratings and outlook on French toll road operator (TRO) Cofiroute (A/Stable/A-1) are unaffected by the French state's divestment of its the toll road sector assets. Cofiroute, as a private company, is not affected by last week's announcement by France's government that it will fully and rapidly divest its remaining stakes in the three state-controlled TROs: Autoroutes du Sud de la France S.A. (ASF, A+/Negative/A-1), Autoroutes Paris-Rhin-Rhone (APRR; A/Negative/A-1), and Sanef (A+/Negative/A-1). The announcement prompted an outlook revision to negative from stable on these three TROs.
