Abstract
On Oct. 9, 2008, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' long-term and 'A-1+' short-term counterparty credit ratings to Australia-based Natixis Australia Pty Ltd. (Natixis Australia, previously Natexis Australia Pty Ltd.). The outlook is negative. The ratings reflect the guarantee from the company's sole parent, France-based Natixis S.A. (AA-/Negative/A-1+) on all of Natixis Australia's transactions unless explicitly specified. Natixis Australia benefits from a general guarantee from Natixis S.A. for transactions entered into after July 4, 2008 (date of signature of the "Deed Poll Guarantee"). This deed will automatically terminate after 20 years but Natixis Australia will continue to benefit from the guarantee for transactions entered into prior to the termination date regardless of their maturity.
