Ltd. (WFH; BBB+/Negative/A-2) reflect its strong market position in Korea's financial market and satisfactory capitalization. However, the long-term counterparty credit rating on WFH is one notch below the rating on its core subsidiary, Woori Bank (A-/Negative/A-2), which reflects WFH's higher default risk.
