Abstract Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'BBB+' long-term rating to California Statewide Communities Development Authority's series 2007 fixed-rate private placement revenue bonds, issued for Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). Additionally, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'BBB+' underlying rating (SPUR) on CHLA's $312.2 million series 2004A and B and 2002A and B bonds, and on a small portion of the series 1999 certificates of participation (COPs), issued by California Statewide Communities Development Authority. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its standard long-term rating on the remaining uninsured portion of the series 1999 COPs.
