Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services revised its outlook to positive and affirmed its 'AA-' long-term and underlying rating (SPUR) on University of Mississippi Educational Building Corp.'s existing bonds, issued on behalf of the University of Mississippi (UM). In addition, Standard & Poor's revised its outlook to positive and affirmed its 'AA-' issuer credit rating (ICR) on the University of Mississippi. The revised outlook reflects our view of UM's improved operating performance despite reductions in state appropriations, and growth in enrollment and financial resource ratios that are above the median of other rated public university ratios.
