FRANKFURT (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 6, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that the ratings and outlook on German utility EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG (EnBW; A-/Negative/A-2) are unchanged following the announcement today of a planned change in its ownership structure. The German State of Baden- W-rttemberg (AA+/Watch Pos/A-1+) said today it has agreed to acquire the 45% share of EnBW currently held by the French utility company Electricit- de France S.A. (A+/Stable/A-1). It further announced that it does not intend to hold the stake in EnBW permanently, but that it plans to divest its shares partly or wholly over the medium term.
