Abstract The financial profile of Bank of Shanghai is satisfactory for a city commercial bank, and reflects its improving asset quality, adequate loan loss provisioning, and sound profitability. Counterbalancing factors include the bank's low capitalization and relatively high concentration risk. The bank has maintained the same information disclosure standards as in previous years. Its 2006 financial statements were prepared in accordance with relevant accounting standards and were audited by 'a big four' accounting firm. Bank of Shanghai was founded in December 1995.
