Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AAA'/'A-1+' rating to the New Hampshire Health and Education Facilities Authority's revenue bonds, series 2003, issued for Dartmouth College. Standard & Poor's has also affirmed its 'AAA' and 'A-1+' ratings on the authority's outstanding debt, issued for Dartmouth. The 'AAA' rating reflects impressive undergraduate and graduate demand profiles, excellent student quality, historically strong financial results, a large endowment totaling over $2 billion that has recorded significant growth over the last five years, and a manageable debt burden. The 'A-1+' rating reflects the college's commitment and ability to provide liquidity support in the event of a failed remarketing.
