Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has affirmed its 'AA+' ratings on nine Georgia school districts, reflecting the school districts': Participation in Georgia's voluntary state aid intercept program, and Added enhancements to the authorizing bond resolution. To participate in the program, the school district must, at the time of issuance, pass a resolution that irrevocably authorizes the state board of education to withhold aid payments for debt service purposes when necessary. The outlooks are stable. The districts are: Berrien County School District, Bryan County School District, Dawson County School District, Habersham County School District, Jackson County School District, Laurens County School District, Macon County School District, Pickens County School District, and Walton County School District.
