Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA' rating to Wyandotte County/Kansas City Unified Government, Kan.'s series 2011-A general obligation (GO) improvement bonds; series 2011-B GO improvement bonds, issued for Wyandotte County projects; and series 2011-C taxable GO improvement bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the unified government's existing general obligation (GO) debt. The outlook on all long-term ratings is stable. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'SP-1+' short-term rating on the unified government's short-term debt outstanding.
