Abstract
Red Oak is a combined-cycle, natural gas-fired generation station in Middlesex County, N.J., with a capacity of 830 megawatt (MW). AES indirectly owns 100% of Red Oak, which sells its capacity and energy to TAQA Gen X LLC under a tolling agreement. AES Sayreville LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Oak, operates the project. Payments under the power purchase agreement (PPA) are expected to provide all of the operating revenues during the remaining term of the PPA. These payments are guaranteed by the offtaker.
