Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'A-' long-term rating on Bellevue, Neb.'s series 2010A and 2010B revenue bonds, issued on behalf of Bellevue University (BU). In our view, the university's history of strong operating margins, as well as a conservative and rapid debt amortization structure, balance financial resource ratios that we consider adequate for the rating category. While we understand that the university does not expect to issue additional debt at this time (it plans to fund capital internally), we believe there is some additional debt capacity given that amortization is rapid.
