California Vets GO Bonds Rated 'AA'; CA Dept of Vet Affairs Bonds Rated 'AA-' Nov 00

Abstract SAN FRANCISCO (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) Nov. 29, 2000--Standard & Poor's today assigned its double-'A' rating to California's $210.56 million veterans GO bonds series BT, BU, and BJ. In addition, Standard & Poor's assigned its double-'A'-minus rating to the Department of Veterans Affairs $97.13 million home purchase revenue bonds, series 1997C (remarketed). The bonds are scheduled to sell Dec. 6, 2000. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its double-'A' rating on California's outstanding veterans GO bonds and its double-'A'-minus rating on the department's outstanding home purchase revenue bonds.
