Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has affirmed its 'BBB-' long-term rating on Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, Pa.'s series 2010 revenue bonds issued for the Global Leadership Academy Charter School. The outlook is stable. The rating reflects our assessment of the school's: Good financial position, characterized by the school's capacity to cover maximum annual debt service (MADS) from current operations in 2010 and 2011, very strong reserve levels, and good liquidity levels; Strong demand based on waiting list levels; Good academic performance, measured by compliance with state standards for performance over the past four years; and Designation by the charter authorizer as a charter school in good standing.
