We also affirmed our 'AA' rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the village's outstanding GO debt. The ratings reflect our view of the village's: Access to the deep and diverse Chicago metropolitan area economy; Very strong income levels and extremely strong market value per capita; Very strong general fund reserves and management's expectations of a surplus for the current fiscal year; and Moderate debt burden as a percentage of market value.
