Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' enhanced program rating and 'A+' school issuer credit rating (ICR), and stable outlook, to Christian County School District R-II (Nixa), Mo.'s series 2010 general obligation (GO) refunding bonds and affirmed its 'AA+' enhanced program rating and 'A+' ICR, with a stable outlook, on the district' existing GO debt. The enhanced program rating reflects the district's participation in the Missouri Direct Deposit of State Aid program. The ICR reflects the district's own creditworthiness, including our view of its: Access to, and participation in, Springfield, Mo.'s diverse metropolitan area economy; Strong wealth and good income levels; Stable overall financial performance, supported by good management and strong reserves; and Moderate overall debt burden.
