At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA-' long-term rating on the district's outstanding GO debt. The outlook is stable. The rating reflects our view of the district's: Participation in the deep and diverse Milwaukee metropolitan area economy; Very strong income and extremely strong market value per capita levels; History of balanced financial operations with strong unreserved fund balances; and Moderate overall debt burden and limited future capital needs.
