American Airlines 2001-1 Pass-Through Certificates Ratings Raised, Off CreditWatch Feb 12

Abstract On Jan. 27, American Airlines affirmed debt that collateralizes its 2001-1 pass-through certificates. We are raising our rating on the 2001-1 Class A1 certificates to 'CCC+' from 'CC', and raising our ratings on the Class B and Class C certificates to 'CCC' from 'C'. We are removing our ratings on these issues from CreditWatch. NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Feb. 3, 2012--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it raised its ratings on the 2001-1 Class A1, Class B, and Class C certificates of AMR Corp. subsidiary American Airlines Inc.
