Abstract
PARIS (Standard & Poor's) Nov. 13, 2006--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it assigned its 'AAA' long-term senior unsecured debt rating to a proposed ?100 million bond maturing in 2014 to be issued by the French City of Paris (AAA/Stable/--) under the city's EMTN program. "The rating on the issue is the same as the issuer credit rating, which reflects the French capital's very wealthy economy, robust financial performance, and highly competent management," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Nicolas Rivière.
