Temporary Evaluation Conducted Of GHLC's ?190.7 Billion Series 42 Structured Issuance Apr 06

TOKYO (Standard & Poor's) April 20, 2006--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it had conducted a temporary evaluation of Government Housing Loan Corp.'s (GHLC) -190.7 billion Series 42 fixed-rate residential mortgage-secured pass-through notes, assuming that a preliminary rating will be assigned. The temporary evaluation is based on the potential entrusted receivables. The transaction is expected to have overcollateralization of approximately 8.6% of the total pool (approximately 9.40% of the note balance), which Standard & Poor's considers sufficient for its 'AAA' rating assignment to GHLC notes. The issue amount of the Series 42 notes is expected to be -190.7 billion and the timing of issuance is scheduled for mid May (the exact terms of the notes will be finalized...
