California's GO and GO Refunding Bonds Rated 'AA'; Outlook Stable Nov 00

Abstract NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's CreditWire) Nov. 22, 2000--NY -- Standard & Poor's CreditWire 11/22/00 -Standard & Poor's today assigned its double-'A' rating to California's GO bonds and GO refunding bonds dated Dec. 1, 2000 due Dec. 1, 2001-2030 and 2001-2014. The bonds are scheduled to sell Nov. 29, 2000. The outlook is stable. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its double-'A' rating on various bonds issued by the state (see list below).
