Three Bond Issuances By Japan Housing Finance Agency Rated 'AA' Dec 10

Abstract
SINGAPORE (Standard & Poor's) Dec. 2, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today assigned its 'AA' local currency long-term debt ratings to Japan Housing Finance Agency's (JHF; AA/Negative/A-1+) bonds that were issued today. The 'AA' ratings were assigned to the following bonds: (1) -22.6 billion, 1.33%, 60th nonguaranteed bonds, due Dec. 18, 2020; (2) -10 billion, 1.83%, 61st nonguaranteed bonds, due Dec. 19, 2025; and (3) -20 billion, 2.13%, 62nd nonguaranteed bonds, due Dec. 13, 2030. The ratings on Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHF) are equalized with that on Japan (AA/Negative/A-1+) based on JHF's critical policy role as the only government-supported entity that specializes in housing loan operations and integral link with the government.
