Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed its 'AA-' long-term rating on the series 2003A fixed-rate bonds and the 'AA-/A-1+' rating on the series 1991 and 1994 variable-rate demand bonds (VRDBs) issued by various authorities for Memorial Health Services (MemorialCare), Calif. The outlook is stable. The ratings reflect our view of MemorialCare's trend of consistently strong earnings and cash flow that has generated coverage of maximum annual debt service (MADS) that we consider very good. In addition, the ratings reflect our view of MemorialCare's good business position and its robust balance sheet highlighted by strong liquidity and low leverage.
