Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA-' long-term rating to the University of Cincinnati (UC), Ohio's series 2012A bonds. At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA-' long-term rating and underlying rating on the university's general receipt bonds and its 'A+' ratings on the university's certificates of participation (COP) and series 2010 Stratford Heights bonds. Finally, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'SP-1+' short-term rating on the university's bond anticipation notes (BAN). The outlook on all ratings, where applicable, is stable. The short-term rating on the BANs is based on our view of the university's long history of market access and overall credit quality.
