Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A' long-term rating and stable outlook to Camdenton County R-3 School District, Mo.'s series 2012 refunding lease participation certificates and affirmed its 'A' underlying rating (SPUR), with a stable outlook, on the district's certificates of participation (COPs). At the same time, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'A+' SPUR, with a stable outlook, on the district's general obligation (GO) debt. The 'A' rating reflects our assessment of the district's pledge of semiannual lease-rental payments, subject to annual appropriation, pursuant to the lease agreement securing the lease participation certificates.
