VOLUME OF RUSSIAN MARKET OF CANNED FRUIT

According to Intesco Research Group, in 2010 the volume of the domestic market of canned fruit in physical terms amounted to 329,9 ths tons having increased by 38,4% in the same period. IMPORT OF CANNED FRUIT
According to Federal State Statistics Service, the volume of imports of canned fruit in physical terms in 2010 amounted to *** ths cond. cans, that is by *** more than in the same period in 2009.

The main share in the structure of Russian imports of canned fruit in physical terms belonged to fruit, nuts and other edible parts of plants (***%).The largest shares in the volume of import belonged to pine-apples (***%) and peaches, including nectarines (***%). The smallest shares of imports belonged to jam, jelly, marmalade and puree of citrus (***%), and pears (***%).

According to Federal State Statistics Service, exports of canned fruit in physical terms in 2010 amounted to *** *** tons, that is ***% less than parameters of 2009.

The main share of imports of canned fruit in physical terms in 2010 belonged to fruit, nuts and other edible parts of plants (***%).
