Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating to Shelby County, Tenn.'s series 2011A general obligation refunding bonds. In addition, we affirmed the 'AA+' long-term rating and underlying rating (SPUR) on the county's parity general obligation (GO) debt. The outlook on all ratings is stable.
