Abstract
MADRID (Standard & Poor's) Sept. 8, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today corrected its 'A+' issue rating on the €30 million senior unsecured Series 5 medium-term notes due Aug. 18, 2019 issued by Spanish bank CaixaBank S.A. (A+/Stable/A-1) by affirming it and removing it from CreditWatch with negative implications. Due to an administrative error, the rating on this issue was not removed from CreditWatch at the time of the latest rating action on the bank on July 1, 2011. The 'A+/A-1' long- and short-term counterparty credit ratings and other issue ratings on CaixaBank remain unchanged.
