The long-term bonds to retire the BANs have been authorized. The ratings reflect our opinion of the town's: Very strong per capita market value and income levels; Participation in the Boston metropolitan statistical area, and sound tax base growth; Very strong financial position; and Low-to-moderate debt burden, with limited future capital needs. The bonds and BANs are general obligations of the town for which its full faith and credit is pledged.
