NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) Nov. 9, 2010--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'A-' long-term rating on Pell City Special Care Facilities Financing Authority, Ala. $92.98 million series 2010A bonds issued for Noland Health Services Inc. (NHS) and affirmed its affirmed its 'A-' long-term rating on debt previously issued by the authority for NHS. The 'A-' rating reflects our assessment of NHS' strength as the largest owner and operator of long-term acute-care hospitals (LTACs) in Alabama, solid demand for both its LTACs and senior-living facilities, strong liquidity with no immediate future debt needs, and sufficient historical pro forma debt service coverage.
