Abstract
Sustained improvements in profitability and liquidity have bolstered the credit quality of U.S.-based chemical company PolyOne. We are raising our ratings on PolyOne, including the corporate credit rating to 'BB-' from 'B+'. The stable outlook reflects our expectation that end market demand will support credit metrics and that management will maintain prudent financial policies as it pursues its growth objectives. NEW YORK (Standard & Poor's) April 22, 2011--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said today that it raised its ratings on Avon Lake, Ohio-based PolyOne Corp., including its corporate credit rating to 'BB-' from 'B+'.
