Standard & Poor's Rating Services has revised its outlook to negative from stable and affirmed its 'A+' rating on bonds issued by the South Carolina Jobs Economic Development Authority for AnMed Health (AnMed). At the same time, we affirmed the 'AAA/A-1' rating on the series 2009A, 2009C, and 2009D variable-rate demand bonds also issued by the authority for AnMed. The 'AAA/A1' ratings reflect the application of joint criteria whereby the bonds are secured by both AnMed and Branch Banking and Trust Co. We based the 'AAA' long-term rating component on the credit ratings on AnMed and the letter of credit (LOC) provider.
