The need to harmonize the language of the world of sustainability in construction has originated that a group of experts in topics of building and civil work have elaborated this glossary in order to foment a precise technical, updated and effective language obviating ambiguities and equivocal terms.
This book presents a summary of terms and concepts, criteria and unified definitions, updated information and especially, a common scientific - technical language on which to rest. Also it includes some most general concepts that provide the user with a wider vision of the sustainability and of construction.
As an added value, all these terms appear both in English and in Spanish, mentioning the sources where their definitions or additional information can be found.
