Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AAA/A-1' dual rating to Oregon Health and Science University's (OHSU) variable-rate demand revenue bonds, series 2012B-1, 2012B-2, 2012B-3, and 2012C. Standard & Poor's also assigned its 'A+ underlying rating (SPUR) to the bonds. The outlook on the 'A+' SPUR is stable. The 'AAA' long-term component of the dual ratings assigned to the series 2012B-1, 2012B-2, and 2012B-3 bonds is based on the application of joint criteria assuming low correlation, where the rating of OHSU is 'A+' and the irrevocable direct-pay letters of credit (LOC) provided by Union Bank National Association for each sub-series are rated 'A+/A-1'.
