Summary
The largest deposits of lead ore in Poland are located in the Silesia Kraców Monocline. ZGH Boleslaw SA is the only remaining producer of lead ore in Poland after Zaklady Górnicze Trzebionka SA discontinued production of lead and zinc ore in early 2009, due to the exhaustion of reserves. Consequently, the country has seen a huge decrease in the production of lead ore, with a negative CAGR of XX% during the review period. In 2011, the country accounted for around 59,800 tons lead ore, a decline of XX% over the previous year. Most of the lead produced in the country was exported to China, Bulgaria and Romania, which accounted for shares of XX%, xX% and XX% respectively in 2011.
