Silicon carbide is considered to be the one of the most important elements for the development of modern semiconductor devices. Importance of SiC in semiconductor has increased mainly due to the demand from applications such as automotive, consumer electronics, industrial, power, solar and wind sector, ICT, healthcare, and defense. The ability of silicon carbide to withstand high temperature, high voltage, and high frequency has helped many industry players to design and develop an electronics device which can be operated in any harsh environment.
