Standard & Poor's Ratings Services has assigned its 'AA' rating to Ypsilanti Community Utility Authority, Mich.'s series 2010 general obligation (GO) bonds issued for Ypsilanti Township's sanitary sewer system no. 7. At the same time, we affirmed the ratings on the authority's outstanding debt. The rating on the previously issued series 2010 sewer system no. 2 bonds reflects the lower of the GO ratings assigned to Superior Charter Township and Ypsilanti Township because these bonds are supported from GO pledges of both townships. The GO debt of both townships are currently rated 'AA'. Officials at Superior Charter Township report at least breakeven financial operations for 2010 and a breakeven 2011 general fund budget. The outlooks on the ratings are stable....
