The Panasonic TH42PA20U is a 42' plasma display. It offers an unbelievable 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,070,000,000 colors, and a depth under 4 inches - perfect for wall mounting or table placement with the supplied pedestal. The display is also loaded with picture refinements such as a mach band effect enhancer and a gamma enhancement system.
The TH42PA20U has vivid colors, extremely wide viewing angles, and easy placement due to the plasma monitor's slim size. It is an EDTV monitor, which means it is a step closer to high-definition (HDTV) than standard TVs. When used with a progressive-scan DVD player (or 480p-output DTV set-top box) it displays seamless, razor-sharp images - especially when using the display's DVI direct digital input. The TH42PA20U's anti-reflection screen coating helps minimize screen reflections so ambient room light in the room doesn't interfere with your viewing.
