Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'AA+' long-term rating to Purdue University Board of Trustees, Ind.'s series 2012A student facilities system revenue bonds, and series AA student fee bonds, both issued for Purdue University. In addition, Standard & Poor's affirmed its 'AA+' long-term rating on the university's outstanding student fee bonds, certificates of participation (COPs), and student facilities system revenue bonds. Standard & Poor's also affirmed its 'A-1+' short-term rating on the university's authorized tax-exempt commercial paper (CP) program and variable-rate demand bonds (VRDBs). The outlook on all long-term ratings is stable. The rating is supported by Purdue's strong balance sheet ratios relative to the rating category, stable enrollment, manageable debt burden, and a tradition of strong fund raising....
