Abstract
Despite the current global economic uncertainty and the prospect of lower oil prices for the remainder of 2012, Standard & Poor's Ratings Services believes the flame won't dim on Asia-Pacific oil and gas companies. We expect the ratings on these companies to remain stable for the following reasons: Conservative assumptions in our base-case forecasts; Continuing growth in regional energy demand; and Ample liquidity.
