Abstract
Standard & Poor's Ratings Services assigned its 'SP-1' short-term rating to the California Community College Financing Authority's (CCCFA) series 2013B tax and revenue anticipation note (TRAN) pool note participations. The total participations will comprise Peralta Community College District and the College of the Sequoias Community College District. The rating reflects our view of strong coverage of note principal and interest by each participating district at maturity when including available sources of alternative liquidity and external borrowing. The rating also reflects our view of each of the district's significant historical variance from previously projected numbers or reliance on alternate liquidity or external borrowing to provide at least 1.0x coverage.
