This report covers the design analysis of an Ericsson GSM/W-CDMA/LTE 1800MHz RRUS01 B3 60W remote radio unit. This unit is part of the RBS6601 main/remote base station platform for Ericsson supporting GSM/W-CDMA/LTE. The unit was manufactured in Q2 2011.

Key Findings:

- The remote radio unit combines the RU22 and FU21 units of the prior generation RBS3000 BTS architecture and is similar to the RRU22 with the major exception that this RRU does not require and forced air cooling.
