The IntelliNews Turkey Construction and Real Estate Sector Report offers an extensive summary of the most recent topics related to the Turkish construction market, segmented into residential, office, industrial and retail space, as well as construction materials. It includes complete coverage of the latest market developments and news, accompanied by thorough statistics and comments. The report pays particular attention to new development projects and investment inflows in the sector. This sector report is ideal to keep you abreast of recent company and industry news. Written by local professionals, it is an unique market and business intelligence analysis, tailored to save time by providing in-depth information, while helping you to make confident and informed business decisions.

Turkey’s construction sector growth accelerated to 24.6% y/y in Q3 2010 against a relatively milder 8.3% and 21.9% y/y expansion in Q1 and in Q2, respectively. The sector’s share in the national production stood at 3.9% in Q3 and 4.1% in the first nine months of the year.

The Turkish Contractors’ Association estimates an annual growth in the sector above 18% in 2010 and 10% annual growth in 2011. The construction sector is expected to grow faster in the last quarter of the year as a result of a pick-up in demand. However, the growth rate of the sector is expected to decline in 2011 as a result of the overall GDP slowdown and the government’s monetary tightening policies.
