Traffic Managers: The Unsung Heroes of Merchant Silicon

Merchant Traffic Managers (MTMs) are the great-unsung heroes of the merchant silicon world. While the excitement over devices such as NPUs have peaked, waned, and been reincarnated, the MTMs have quietly been shipping to customers all over the world to help a wide spectrum of different pieces of networking equipment handle its data in an optimal manner.
