In 1Q04, Wi-Fi unit shipments declined 12% quarter over quarter, reflecting the seasonality of the market. However, total Wi-Fi unit shipments increased a healthy 114% on a year over year comparison. 14.7 million units were shipped in 1Q04 as compared to 16.7 million units in the final quarter of 2003. Despite lower unit shipments, end-use revenues grew 4% QoQ from $1.02 billion in 4Q04 to $1.08 billion in 1Q04 based on the strength of 802.11g and dual band unit sales.
