IP/DSL Set Top Boxes: Benefiting from the Rise in Telco TV

The activity surrounding Telco TV deployments is increasing. Equipment providers are seeing many more requests for proposals, as well as requests for quotes. These RFPs and RFQs are coming from large PTTs and ISPs, not just smaller companies as they were a few years ago. The IP/DSL set top box suppliers are benefiting from the increased activity with ever larger orders for IP/DSL set top boxes.
In this report we take a look at the increase in unit shipments and revenue, the suppliers of these products, and the features currently being offered, along with those that will be added in the future. Five-year forecasts for units, revenue, ASPs, and bill of materials are provided.
