S&P Publishes Updated Capital Ratios For World's Top 100 Rated Banks Feb 13

Abstract
FRANKFURT (Standard & Poor's) Feb. 18, 2013--Standard & Poor's Ratings Services today published its updated risk-adjusted capital (RAC) ratios for the world's top 100 banks that it publicly rates. Our RAC ratio compares Standard & Poor's definitions of total adjusted capital (TAC) to risk-weighted assets (Standard & Poor's RWAs). Our most recent RAC ratios are based on financial data from 2011 and 2012, and the top 100 ranking is based on tier 1 capital as published in The Banker in November 2012. The report published today: "Top 100 Rated Banks: S&P Capital Ratios And Rating Implications," also includes our latest assessments of "capital and earnings" and "risk position" for the top 100 rated banks.
